Those Diplomatic Pouches

According to Mahdi Obeidi, author of The Bomb in My Garden and whose recent presentation I attended at the Fairfax County Public Library Pohick Branch, critical items for creating nuclear centrifuges were shipped via diplomatic pouch and transferred through Saudi Arabia.

On April 27, 2005, the following appeared in the UK Financial Times (with thanks to Robert Spencer's site www.jihadwatch.org):

"A Swiss-based businessman accused by the US Treasury of providing financial help to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda carried a Saudi diplomatic passport, according to copies of documents contained in a book published today in Paris...."

Isn't it time we had a closer look at what goes on within the guise and under the cover of foreign embassies here on our home soil? Specifically, what about the Islamic Saudi Academy in Northern Virginia? ISA has recently been in the news with the arrest of Ahmed Abu Ali, valedictorian and aspiring Presidential assassin (among other things). Does this school enjoy diplomatic status? How does this school spend the funds which it generates?
